Handmade reclaimed oak barn wood bench, table, plant stand
Handmade reclaimed oak barn wood bench, table, plant stand
These wholly unique primitive benches are handmade from 100% authentic barn wood (typically oak) salvaged from old barns in West Virginia or Southwest Virginia. This special wood has a uniqueness all it’s own and has a limited supply available.
The pictured bench Is nominally 36 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 1/2 inches tall. It is finished naturally* (unfinished). This style bench can be customized to virtually any length up to 5 feet, any width up to 16 inches, and any height up to 24 inches. My wife wanted hers made from wood from a red barn (also pictured) and custom made to fit perfectly beneath a south facing bow window to hold house plants. You can have a custom bench too.
Finish Options:
All Finishes Are Natural: Exactly how it came off the barn. Lightly sanded to remove sharp edges and splinters.*
Available in natural brown/gray barn wood or barn wood with remnants of white or red paint as illustrated in the pictures.
The pictures you see in my store depict a representative sample for my primitive benches. You will receive a bench made from the same pattern, the same size and of the same type wood as the sample unless you specifically request a custom bench. Again, these benches are handmade by me from 100% reclaimed barn wood, therefore each item is literally one of a kind with different wood characteristics and individual reclaimed attributes including but not limited to grain, color, dimensional uniformity, checks, splits, cracks, holes, knots, warp, twist, bow, cuts, scrapes, scratches etc. No two pieces are the same so please consider this before you order.
Custom benches will take approximately 5-7 days to complete and ready to ship. If you prefer a custom made bench please contact me directly. Bravo Company Shops is a full service shop specializing in antique restoration and unique builds inspired by the characteristics of each piece of reclaimed wood. I am not a factory with an assembly line, I am one person who enjoys making things with my hands. My shop is very informal, my processes are simple. If you want a custom bench give me a call and we will work out the details the old fashioned way. Remember, when you put in a custom order, you are hiring me to build you a Custom piece, unless I otherwise state. This is what makes your item unique and one of a kind.
