Handmade solid hardwood cutting board
This beautiful solid hardwood (not veneer) butcher block cutting board will make cutting your meats and vegetables a treat. Handmade by me, these edge grain cutting boards are individually made from solid mixed hardwoods (walnut, maple, ash, hickory, cherry) from Virginia. The wood is properly dried and finished with FDA approved oils and waxed to be 100% safe for your kitchen.
As you use the cutting board it will need to be recoated every 2-4 weeks as needed with your favorite cutting board oil available at most home and hardware stores.
Hand wash, pat dry, and let air dry.
These butcher block cutting boards are nominally 1” thick, 11” wide and 18” long including the handle. Each board comes with a rawhide loop for hanging (or carrying).
While most boards shipped will be nominally the size described above, as each board is handmade from natural wood the board you receive could have variations in dimensions up to 1/4” in thickness, 1” in width and 1” in length.
Wood is a natural material and each piece will be unique. There will be variations in wood color, grain, and texture.
Most of my boards are custom made to a specific size. If you would like a custom board message me the size you want and I will give you a price. Custom orders will take 5-7 shop days to complete.
If you would like to add an initial or initials “painted” on the board as seen in the pictures, please message me as well. It is important to understand the initials will be painted on the “back” of the board because paint is not food safe.
