This rare and exotic handmade Charcuterie Board, believed to be made from virgin African Mopane, is a beautiful mellow brown with a dark, straight grain. It has an ultra-fine and uniform texture and is one of the most durable and hardest woods in the world, and is the second hardest wood found in Africa. What do I mean “believed to be”? The lumber was sold to me as “ believed to be” African Mopane. I have no way to verify the authenticity of this claim, however my own research suggests that it like is Mopane.
This magnificent board has a partial live edge on both sides and will complement any kitchen or dinner party and impress any guest. The item pictured is the only one I currently have in stock.
